In the beautiful Southern-Palatinate, the family-owned Diehl winery devotes itself fully to the production of pure varieties of the classic Palatinate varieties, each of which is recognizable by its terrain. "eins zu eins" signifies the harmonious relationship between variety and maturation. The Diehl Grauer Burgunder "eins zu eins" shows notes of ripe pear and a hint of Brazil nut. It is round and velvety with a delicate acidity and a firm substance. This Grauburgunder we like to recommend especially for asparagus in butter sauces, veal casseroles, and soured boiled rump.
