Kaiserschmarrn is a classic Austrian dessert. It can be described as a sugered pancake. However, this pancake is special! It is extremely airy and fluffy and is eaten by rustically tearing it into small pieces. Simply combine the mixture with 200 ml cold milk to create a smooth dough. Pour into a frying pan and bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the pan, tear into bite-sized pieces and sprinkle with iced sugar. Hint: try to caramelize some sugar first, add a litte butter and bits of fruit before you pour the dough into the pan. You may also want to add some berries or raisins to the dough. A lovely, warm, sweet treat.
