Traditional German Sauerkraut. Can be served as is. Time permitting we still like to add some fried bacon bits, vegetable stock, honey or pineapple and a few caraway seeds, simmering the Kraut for at least 30-40 min. Traditionally, the Sauerkraut is served with all potato variations, rustic roats, boiled meats and, of course, all kinds of sausages.
